1. Scope
This SMS Privacy Policy applies only to information collected, used, and maintained through the text-messaging program operated by Universal Warehousing & Logistics LLC ("UWL LLC," "we," "us," or "our"). It does not describe UWL LLC's privacy practices outside of its SMS program.
UWL LLC uses text messaging for transactional and conversational communications concerning customer-initiated quote or shipment-status requests and active freight shipments. These communications may include pickup and delivery coordination, appointment information, shipment-status and location updates, documentation requests, delays, detention, breakdowns, and other operational matters.
2. Information We Collect Through the SMS Program
When you communicate with UWL LLC by text message, we may collect and maintain:
· Your name, mobile telephone number, company, and business role;
· The content of text messages and any information or attachments you provide through the messaging program;
· Information relating to a quote request or active shipment, such as load or reference numbers, pickup and delivery information, shipment status, location updates, and supporting documentation;
· Records of your consent to receive text messages, including the method, date, and time of consent; and
· Messaging records such as delivery status, opt-in, opt-out, and HELP requests.
3. How We Use SMS Information
We use information collected through the SMS program to:
· Respond to customer-initiated quote and shipment-status requests;
· Communicate with customers, motor carriers, dispatchers, drivers, and other authorized shipment contacts regarding active shipments;
· Coordinate pickups, deliveries, appointments, documentation, and shipment-status updates;
· Address delays, detention, breakdowns, service issues, and other operational matters;
· Provide messaging support and process opt-in, opt-out, and HELP requests;
· Maintain records of business communications and SMS consent; and
· Protect the security and integrity of our operations and comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.
UWL LLC does not use its SMS program to send marketing or promotional messages.
4. How We Disclose SMS Information
UWL LLC may disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate the SMS program and provide freight-related services, including to telecommunications providers, mobile network operators, messaging-platform providers, information-technology providers, and other service providers that assist with delivering, routing, supporting, or maintaining text-message communications. These providers are authorized to use the information only as necessary to provide services to UWL LLC or as required by law.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of UWL LLC or others.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Sale of Mobile Information
UWL LLC does not sell or rent mobile telephone numbers, SMS consent records, or text-message opt-in information.
6. Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies based on the recipient's requests and the operational needs of an active shipment. Message and data rates may apply according to the recipient's mobile-service plan.
7. Your SMS Choices
Participation in the UWL LLC SMS program is optional. You may opt out at any time by replying STOPto a UWL LLC text message. After an opt-out request is processed, you will receive a confirmation and no further text messages will be sent to that number unless you later provide new consent.
For assistance, reply HELPor contact UWL LLC using the information below. Opting out of text messaging does not prevent UWL LLC from communicating through other methods when necessary for an active business relationship or shipment.
8. Data Retention
UWL LLC retains SMS information and consent records for as long as reasonably necessary to support shipment operations, maintain business and compliance records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy applicable legal or regulatory requirements. Information may then be deleted or de-identified in accordance with applicable business and legal requirements.
9. Data Security
UWL LLC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information maintained through the SMS program. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and UWL LLC cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This SMS Privacy Policy
UWL LLC may update this SMS Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued participation in the SMS program after an update is subject to the revised policy, except where additional notice or consent is required by law.

1. Scope and Agreement
These SMS Terms and Conditions govern participation in the text-messaging program operated by Universal Warehousing & Logistics LLC ("UWL LLC," "we," "us," or "our"). They apply only to UWL LLC's SMS program and do not replace or modify any other agreement governing freight, transportation, brokerage, or logistics services.
By affirmatively opting in to the UWL LLC SMS program, you agree to these SMS Terms and Conditions and UWL LLC's SMS Privacy Policy. Participation is optional and is not a condition of purchasing services or doing business with UWL LLC.
2. Program Purpose and Message Types
UWL LLC sends transactional and conversational text messages concerning customer-initiated quote or shipment-status requests and active freight shipments. Messages may include:
· Responses to customer-initiated quote and shipment-status requests;
· Pickup and delivery coordination;
· Appointment information and scheduling;
· Shipment-status and driver-location updates;
· Requests for documents or shipment information;
· Notifications concerning delays, detention, breakdowns, or service issues; and
· Other operational communications related to an active shipment.
The UWL LLC SMS program is not used for marketing, promotional messages, bulk messaging, or unsolicited carrier solicitation.
3. How to Opt In
A recipient may opt in to receive UWL LLC text messages through one of the following methods:
· Initiating a text conversation with a UWL LLC SMS-enabled business number after receiving that number through an established business interaction, email, shipment document, or verbal communication;
· Providing affirmative verbal consent during a business or operational telephone call after being informed that UWL LLC will send text messages concerning a customer-initiated inquiry or active shipment; or
· Providing affirmative written consent by email to receive text messages concerning a customer-initiated inquiry or active shipment.
Consent applies to the mobile number provided and to the types of communications disclosed when consent is obtained. Consent for active-shipment communications generally ends when the shipment is completed unless the recipient initiates a new inquiry or provides new consent for another shipment or purpose. UWL LLC may maintain records of the recipient's consent, including the method, date, time, mobile number, and applicable shipment or inquiry.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the recipient's requests and the operational needs of the active shipment. UWL LLC does not guarantee a specific number or frequency of messages.
5. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by the recipient's wireless-service provider and mobile-service plan. UWL LLC is not responsible for message or data charges assessed by a wireless-service provider.
6. How to Opt Out
You may opt out of the UWL LLC SMS program at any time by replying STOP to a UWL LLC text message. After the opt-out request is processed, UWL LLC will send a confirmation message and will not send additional text messages to that number unless you later provide new consent.
Opting out of text messaging does not prevent UWL LLC from communicating with you through telephone, email, or other methods when necessary for an active shipment, business relationship, legal obligation, or safety-related matter.

8. Delivery and Availability
Text-message delivery is subject to wireless-network availability and is not guaranteed. Messages may be delayed, blocked, or undelivered because of circumstances outside UWL LLC's control. UWL LLC and participating wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The SMS program should not be used as the sole method for urgent, emergency, or safety-critical communications. For urgent shipment matters, contact UWL LLC by telephone at 407-501-5380.
9. Recipient Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing an accurate mobile number and for notifying UWL LLC if the number changes, is reassigned, or is no longer under your control. You should not enroll another person's mobile number without that person's authorization.
You agree not to use the SMS program to transmit unlawful, threatening, abusive, fraudulent, or malicious content or information that infringes the rights of others.
10. Privacy
UWL LLC handles mobile information and SMS consent records as described in its SMS Privacy Policy. Mobile information and text-messaging opt-in data will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

11. Changes or Termination
UWL LLC may update these SMS Terms and Conditions or modify, suspend, or terminate the SMS program at any time. Updated terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Where required by law, UWL LLC will provide additional notice or obtain additional consent.
